Bio and Resume

My art is mainly concerned with conveying a feeling or eliciting an emotional response
from the viewer based on an internal recognition, not an external landscape. The subject matter has always been based on the intuitive or subconscious.
For that reason, it has a tendency to be classified as surrealistic.
In fact, painting is intrinsically a religious endeavor, shamanic in it's nature.
Excellent art and the talent to do it comes from the collective consciousness, it's a gift from previous generations and should be viewed in that context.
But, I am still very much interested in the painterly and plastics elements of doing art.
After saying all of the above, I truly believe statements have very little importance in explaining the true nature of art. Its all
about using your eyes and heart to understand it's meaning.
